The story begins branched out and those branches gather together as it progresses. At the beginning of your story, you cannot co-op unless you both start from the same race and background. Later on, when you meet the orders of Tyria, you can co-op if you choose the same order. After that point you can co-op everything.
Yes you *only* need to do the mission specified in the achievement if you've already done them on that character. No need to do them in order by active mission. I took a chance on it myself yesterday because I got bored with the talking and talking and taaaaaaaaaalking. You can skip a fair bit of story.
MadTim 11 years ago #2. Your in a different instance, once the world hits its limit people get thrown into some sort of overflow server. You can join a Q but its easier to just make a party with them and then meet up when you go into an instance. "I'm not doing it because all the cool kids are doing it, I'm doing it because I'm a cool kid."
If you are on the same region you can click on the party member and select "Join in ~name of the map~". 1. Mez_Koo • 6 yr. ago. You don't have to be the same race / class / choices to play together. Just be in a party together in the same map instance while they're opening a story mission and you can choose to join them. (Edit: You start with a Waypoint unlocked in each starting region.) If you are on the exact same story step (race + choices) you can choose to advance
Just get multiple accounts. Then you can farm as many home instances as your wallet can afford. If only I could actually afford such a thing. Two of the contract bundles was scary enough lol. He means that you can use the multiple free accounts to harvest nodes in your main account home instance.
