My security setting is set to "Allow apps from anywhere" yet it still verifies some apps before opening and asks me every single time I open them if I want to open them. I can understand asking the first time, which is what the old behavior was, but it asks me EVERY SINGLE TIME if I want to open an app.
It is this App that then invokes the App Start up if there are incoming invites or Messages depending on app. In Messages this can be stopped in the General Section of the Preferences. The pic was originally posted fro an AppleScript thing but see the Arrow. This should stop all the Notification items and the app launching when you don't expect

Set Safari’s window to full screen by clicking the green button in the upper-left of the window. 3. Quit Safari without closing the window you just set to full screen mode. It’s very important that you don’t close the application window before quitting the app. Open Activity Monitor on your Mac, select the unresponsive app under the CPU tab, and click the Stop (X) button at the top. Click Force Quit when prompted to confirm, and the app will shut off OK4sOLI.
